Social Ad Concepts: Scottsdale Family-Friendly Resort

For the static ad, I chose this bright, dynamic image of a family playing in a resort pool. In my experience, static imagery doesn’t always perform as well as video. I sourced some organic-feeling, energetic stock video with interesting POVs, mixed with playful type animation and transitions, and static imagery of the amenities. This combination conveys the joy of what resort day passes have to offer, while driving home the message of affordability, and ensuring the “ResortPass” brand is front-and-center by including the logo in the first few seconds.

 
 
 
 

Email: Hotel Launch

I created a modular layout with fun, bright elements that allow the images to pop and also feel cohesive. The design introduces the new resort to the reader with imagery that includes people in the space, aiming to trigger a more emotional response.

Including additional CTAs throughout the layout (with the same destination) creates a better user experience by ensuring the reader doesn’t need to read the whole email in order to learn more, which can improve click through rate.

The design is mobile and desktop friendly.
